The Catalan giants made a surprise statement on transfer deadline day, showing the club had obtained the services of 20-year-old Francisco Trincão.
Any club wanting to prise him away from Barça’s clutches might need to pay £450million if they need him. That clause alone shows how highly Barcelona’s hierarchy worth their new signing.
The soon-to-be Barça participant was quick to ease any concerns the Braga loyal might have concerning his devotion in the rest of this season.

How he has described paints a picture of a participant with Barcelona DNA. This period, Trincão has averaged 0.86 goals and assists per 90 from the Portuguese top flight. The sample size is not the biggest but there is a lot to choose from those amounts. He’s a target threat; creating team-mates in addition to scoring himself.
Trincão is an aggressive ball-carrier, trying almost six dribbles per 90 and finishing close to 70 percent. The 20-year-old sees a whole lot of the ball in the region, averages six bits per 90 from the opposition’s box, and generates 3.5 opportunities (per 90).
All these are transferable provided that Barcelona allow Trincão to be the player that convinced them to part with big-money to signal him. A nimble-footed playmaker on the right flank, he yells when he is allowed to cut inside on his left. He is explosively fast, both in and out of possession but there is a calmness to his game that gives off the impression he’s always in control, whatever the circumstance.
Hardly any wide forward in the world have the existence of the Juventus No.7 and does Trincão, but he has the capacity, in spades.
He’s also a potent dribbler, another trait he shares with his compatriot. But, Trincão is still quite raw, which means Barcelona will have the ability to mold him into the player they want him to be.
