Anybody that has followed football this season will know that FC Barcelona have not had the best of times on and off the field.

Of course, La Blaugrana were rocked at the beginning of the campaign when Lionel Messi revealed that he wanted to leave the club, although that talk appears to have calmed down in recent months.

They also have a huge financial problem – perhaps down to the fact that they pay Messi huge sums of money – whilst their involvement in the doomed European Super League certainly did not make them any friends within UEFA.

Furthermore, their performances on the pitch have not gone down well, either. Despite having been able to win the Copa del Rey once again, FC Barcelona were poor in the UEFA Champions League and have been eliminated from the race to win the La Liga title after a shock defeat to Celta Vigo after a disappointing draw to Levante. Indeed, some will point to their decision to sell Luis Suarez last summer, as he has effectively put Atletico Madrid in the driving seat to win the title.

With so much uncertainty around the club, it is perhaps unsurprising that there are plans to have a mass exodus this summer, with reports from Spain suggesting that 14 players could be allowed to leave the Nou Camp in order to try and balance the books and freshen things up.

Mundo Deportivo have claimed that a “remodelling” of FC Barcelona and their squad will take place, with several first-teamers up for sale.

Individuals such as Neto, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Matheus Fernandes, Martin Braithwaite, Philippe Coutinho and Miralem Pjanic are some of the big names that have been highlighted, as Joan Laporta is keen to start another revolution at the club he returned to as president once again. Even Ronald Koeman’s position as manager still remains a little unclear.

However, shifting many of them will be easier said than done, as the likes of Coutinho, Pjanic and Umtiti could be difficult to move on because of the high wages that they earn, with many clubs unlikely going to be able to match them. However, bettors using sportfogadas.net in Hungary will be able to place bets with top sportsbooks if they feel they can successfully predict where these players will go.

By clearing these footballers off the books, FC Barcelona are looking to potentially position themselves into an area where they can continue to attract some of the best footballers, with the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia all linked.

Furthermore, Sergio Aguero has also been linked with a return to Spain and could instantly reunite with Garcia as the Manchester City legend will leave the club on a free transfer this summer.

Indeed, if he arrives, perhaps Blaugrana have a better chance of convincing Lionel Messi to remain at the club for the 10-years that they have rumoured to have offered the 33-year-old.
